Tell Laura I Love Her

Miss Summerfield asked us the question,
why we would like to have wings?

I said if we had wings we would be able
to fly away when our parents have grounded us,
to be able to get our kites down
when they got stuck in the tree.

On my way home later I saw a wizard
walking down the street.
I ran up to him and asked if I could have a wish.
He said, “Yes”. ” I wish that I had wings”!
POP!

The next day in school everyone crowded around me,
asked if they could have a ride on my back.
I said “Yes” !
